Novak Djokovic maintained his interest, al least until the evening session, in the ATP tour final today. He beat Nadal 7-6, 6-3.
In fairness it wasn't a great game and Nadal showed his fighting qualities to pull back a break in the first and carry on through pain in the second. The match again demonstrated the balance of power on the hard court held by the Serb and it was another fair result for the puntinplay.com customers who took the handicap market at -3.5. The only serious concern was in the final game when Nadal showed a love thirty lead and had a break point but Djokovic won through. Like Murray he now has to wait before it is determined what flight he is going to catch.
