Thiemo De Bakker is one all in the head to head stakes with Gael Monfils and at puntinplay we think he is a good bet to progress to the next round in Toronto later today.
De Bakker won on clay in 2009 but he has had a far better season than Monfils, who is just back from injury. The 21 year old from the Netherlands has made a semi-final in Barcelona and has made good progress up the rankings this year. He also made the last eight in Sydney.
At 11/8 he looks value in a match due to kick-off at 17.30 this evening.
