Marin Cilic who took the boy Tomic outside and beat him up on Thursday looks to have a chance of making the great man sweat at Flushing Meadows this afternoon.
As we have stated recently Cilic looks to be on the way back after a season that could only be described as moderate. On his day, as he proved when making the last four in Melbourne in 2010, Cilic can comfortably sit at the top table. He has only played Fedex twice and has lost both games in straight sets.
Fedex has been imperious in his two New York matches so far but the US swing has shown that he is vulnerable against better opposition. Cilic s value at 5/1 but the best bet is to back him at 10/11 with a 6.5 game start with Paddy Power or Stan James.
