Bobs Worth landed some mighty bets when winning the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle under an ultra confident ride from Barry Geraghty.
Available at 7-2 this morning, Nicky Henderson's gelding was backed off the boards into 15-8 fav and his supporters never had an anxious moment.
He was always travelling well behind the leaders on the outside, and as they turned for home he cruised up to challenge the strong travelling Court In Motion.
That one began to crack approaching the last, and it was left to Bobs Worths' stable companion Mossley to throw down the last challenge.
Geraghty got a great jump out of the winner at the last to seal it, but McCoy tried all he could to conjur a last effort out of Mossley and at one point looked to be gaining.
However Bobs Worth had plenty left in the locker and found extra top win a shade cosily.
His win provided Nicky Henderson and Geraghty with their first win of the week after several near misses.
A relieved Geraghty sad: "He was my lastbanker of the week. They have all run well and there have been no hard luck stories but I had alot of faith in this one."
