The ground at Cheltenham may ride a bit quicker today as the action switches to fresh going on the New Course.
The official going is described as good, good to soft in places.
Clerk of the course Simon Claisse said this morning: "We have moved and are moving around ten to eleven furlongs of rail which will be finished by midmorning, and the going is good, good to soft in places. It was a dry night though it does a feel a bit damp at the moment.
"It's fresh ground, we did water over the weekend. I walked it yesterday and it does feel a bit quicker, though there are still some good to soft bits."
