A real minefield to sort out, but Mister Hyde makes plenty of each-way appeal at 16-1.
Jonjo O'Neill's six-year-old ran very well to be sixth to World Hurdle runner-up Grands Crus in a very strong handicap here back in November before landing a gamble at Plumpton.
He was then unsuited by the way the race was run when finishing eigth of 20 to Kilcrea Kim in a hot handicap at Sandown, and the fact that he was sent off 7-2 favourite shows that far better was expected.
The gelding looks sure to get the strong pace he needs in today's race, and is only 3lb higher than his excellent run behind Grands Crus.
Another plus is that he has the services of crack conditional Richie McLernon on his back, and he takes off another valauble 3lbs.
His handler has also showed time and time again that he is capable of laying one out for the handicaps at the Festival, and I would not be surprised if Mister Hyde went off shorter than the 16s currently available.
Recommended bet: 3pts each-way Mister Hyde (16-1 Betfred, Stan James, Hills)
