College Causeway is a standout bet at 11-10 to win his fourth round heat of the Paddypower Irish Derby at Shelbourne tonight.
Pay Buckley’son of Go Wild Teddy holds thga track record at the Dublin circuit, and is a best priced 9-2 with Stan James to win the contest outright.
He is not ideally drawn in Trap 4 in the first of four heats tonight (9.15) but should have far too much class and pace to overcome this field.
The April 06 whelp overcame a huge bump at the first bend in the last round to win going away in emphatic style, and the biggest odds he has started in the first three rounds has been 9-10!
It’s therefore incredible to find that William Hill have put him in at 11-10 for tonight’s heat, whereas Ladbrokes are surely much nearer the mark with their offer of 8-11.
It’s a huge rick by Hills, who will surely be filled in at that price way before the traps rise.
In the other heats, St Louis Spirit looks nicely drawn in Trap 6 in the 9.30 and appeals at 2-1, Faypoint Man (T4) is worth backing at 5-4 in the 9.45, and the 6-4 about impressive pup Scolari Me Daddy in the final heat at 10pm will not last long.
