Day two of the Cheltenham Festival turned into another bloodbath for punters with 4-5 favourite Master Minded turned over on a day full of shocks.
With heavily backed favoruites falling by the wayside one by one it was left to
Ruby Walsh and Paul Nicholls to offer a little respite for backers when Sanctuaire (4-1) landed a big gamble in the Fred Winter Hurdle.
However, the fightback did not last long as 40-1 outsider Cue Card destroyed some tall reputations when running away with the finale on the card, the Champion Bumper.
Among those beaten in the Bumper was Edward O'Grady's Shot From The Hip, who was backed off the boards from 8-1 into 3-1 favourite but ran a shocker and eventually finsihed fourth last.
