Finally, finally, finally boxing has returned after what can be best described as a stupid end of season break, and the fast punching Andre Berto looks a knockout bet to beat Jan Zaveck (0:200 Sunday).
Berto is attempting to bounce back from his fight of the year defeat to Victor Ortiz against his German based opponent.
He has made a few minor changes to his training regime, and seems keen to see if he can improve as a fighter having enlisted the help of legendary condition Victor Conte.
One thing for sure is that Berto is an extremely quick fighter who will be hitting Zaveck with fast combinations to get off to a flying start.
That means and Zaveck backers will endure a torrid time - especially in the first 3 or 4 rounds.
Zaveck has a defeat to Rafal Jackiewicz in the book and that is a grim looking formline in the context of this fight.
