Dermot Weld has a potential superstar in the making in Zaminast. The filly has only made one public appearance but she show true class at Galway in picking up the field in the short straight to run out a convincing winner. The trainer highlighted that there would probably only one more outing this season.
Hasty Katie was third that day and franked the form by convincingly winning the maiden on the Saturday of the festival meeting. The filly had previously gained some unfavorable press after throwing away a two length in a mile maiden at Leopardstown. The trait hasn't been repeated in two subsequent races and she could cause a surprise this afternoon and further highlight the cause of Zamanist who we fully anticipate will be competing at group one level next season. Hasty Katie is an each way puntinplay in the 3.45 at the Curragh this afternoon.
