The going on the Grand National course today remained good to soft, soft in places but the weather forecast for the next four days suggests that the ground could well dry out for the big race.

GoingStick Readings: Mildmay 6.0, Hurdle 5.9 and National 5.3 today at 3pm.
All bends on the Mildmay and Hurdle Courses will be on the outer line on Thursday and will be moved in to provide fresh ground each day.
Clerk of the course Andrew Tulloch said: “I am very pleased with the ground at the moment and it should ease a bit overnight. We will have nice jumping ground to start the meeting with on Thursday.”
