The unexposed Voodoo Prince is held in high regard by connections and is of serious interest at 17/2 in the 4.55 at Doncaster today.
Ed Dunlop's colt is the first foal of the brilliant Ouija Board and after showing distinct promise in a hot maiden at Newbury scored in good style at Haydock back in May.
Slowly away that day, he quickly recovered the lost ground and after being ridden to take up the running inside the final furlong pulled readily clear of Kawsaaj to score by an easy two lengths.
He was then far from disgraced in his next two starts in handicaps, but shaped on both occasions as if his mind wasn't totally focussed on the job in hand.
Connections have since given him a break and had him gelded and I think that the op could see him finally deliver his true potential.
There is little doubt that he is unexposed and open to considerable improvement if it has done the trick, and off a mark of just 85 he looks nicely treated.
With Kieren Fallon, who rode him to success at Haydock, back in the saddle he looks a solid each-way bet at the 17/2 on offer with Victor Chandler.
Recommended bet: 2pts each-way Voodoo Prince (17/2 Victor Chandler - BOG)
