L'Hirondelle is absolutely thrown-in on his best form in the 4.40 Lingfield and looks terrific each-way value at 12/1.
Michael Attwater's gelding is much better on the Polytrack surface than on the turf, and although he has not been at his best this season his handicapped mark has plummeted as a result.
He is now down to a mark of just 72 and is 7lb lower than when last scoring at Kempton last July.
Since that victory he has also twice been placed at Kempton off marks of 84, and to me he showed enough last time out to suggest he could be ready to take advantage of his lenient mark.
That run came over 1m 1f at Wolverhampton, where after being held up he was switched to deliver a challenge a furlong from home before weakening out of contention to finish just over a four length 6th of 11 to Count Bertoni.
The trip seemd to stretch his stamina, and the drop back to a mile looks sure to suit.
Everything looks in place for a huge run, and at double figure odds he has to be of serious each-way interest.
Recommended bet: 2pts each-way L'Hirondelle (12/1 bet365 - BOG)
